The Pear Tree has provided us with plenty of cherished memories over the years, with it being our go-to drinks spot during the Fringe and during most sporting events. So, the beloved pub on West Nicolson Street has delivered once again: Edinburgh rugby fans are getting a Six Nations Fan Zone with a large screen this weekend (February 4).
Visitors will be able to enjoy all the Guinness Six Nations matches on the big screen at the one-of-a-kind rugby screening and chant away for Scotland. Edinburghers sure know how to support their favourite teams, so it’s set to be a fun day out for everyone who decides to brave it into the city centre.
What is more, there will be plenty of pints of Guinness to go around, along with some tasty pub bites as well as alcohol-free Guinness.
The first match to be screened at the Six Nations Fan Zone between Wales and Ireland will kick off at 2:15pm, followed by the much-anticipated England vs. Scotland game at 4:45pm on Saturday, February 4. Italy will then go head-to-head with France at 3pm on Sunday, February 5.
The Fan Zone will also be showing all the Six Nations games during all of the weekends it’s on. Go Scotland!
