While most people are talking about Christmas at this point, panto fans are exceptionally overjoyed to hear the news of the new panto show this year. Following a smash-hit performance of Panto: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, another grandiose spectacular of panto will be delighting the stage of Festival Theatre next Christmas. The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan, produced by the world’s biggest pantomime producer Crossroads Pantomimes, will run from November 25, 2023, to December 31, 2023 and will star panto favourites Allan Stewart, Grant Stott and Jordan Young.
Allan will play ‘Mrs Smee’, Grant will play ‘Captain Hook’ and Jordan will play ‘Smee’. After successfully entertaining audiences year after year, the team are ecstatic to return to the Festival Theatre and thrill spectators once again.
Allan Stewart, has enjoyed a rich career in stand-up, music and musical theatre for a number of decades. Allan has performed in numerous Royal Variety Performances and received critical acclaim in the Olivier Award-winning musical Jolson the Musical, and is a true panto veteran. And Grant Stott is a BBC Radio Scotland presenter and panto veteran and this will mark his 29th panto, as well as the 23rd season for Capital Theatres.
Jordan Young is most known for performing as the bad boy Alex Murdoch in River City, for which he won a Best Scottish Actor award. He’s also recognised as PC Jack McLaren in BBC Scotland’s BAFTA-winning improvised comedy series Scot Squad.
Looks like it’s going to be another wonderfully noteworthy year, so join Peter Pan as he sets sail on a unique panto adventure this 2023. Expect special effects, stunning sets, beautiful costumes and an abundance of laughter as usual, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan will take your whole family on a trip to Neverland like never before!
