To start off the year the right way, many of us have set goals to deepen our self-care practices, work on ourselves, live more sustainably or simply exercise more. The perfect community event, Flare Festival, which encourages just that is coming to the Scottish capital this January 20 and 21, and it’s going to be filled with love, comedy, yoga, meditation, spirituality and more of all that good stuff.
The event is organised by a local mindset coach and founder of Flare* Nicole, also known as Nico. Flare* is a business that is not only based on coaching and mentoring, but also on creating inclusive well-being events which promote creating change and impact in the world through first transforming our own internal worlds. Nico aims to create that ripple effect of good in the world by empowering the people around her, as well as small businesses and local creatives.
Flare Festival is set to be an exciting one, taking place at Edinburgh’s Summerhall between 10am and 6pm, with a generous line-up of heart-warming events, empowering workshops, a sauna, live DJ sets, plenty of local business stalls and an alcohol-free bar where guests can try out various alternatives. What is more, the festival will culminate with a live music party, where like-minded individuals can dance their struggles away.
Flare Festival will be spread out through various spaces in Summerhall, offering visitors a chance to try a wide variety of activities. In the Main Hall, some noteworthy events include a Pilates class with Mardy Bum Active Club, Visualisation Meditation with Holly from My Inside Studio. And in Anatomy, guests will find talks regarding manifestation, living an alcohol-free life, health & fitness, igniting one’s potential and more.
Tech Cube will be hosting yoga classes and improv, and Old Lab will become home to the holistic kind of things, such as a cacao ceremony, modern hypnotherapy sessions and chakra dance.
