Following a sell-out show in Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena on January 24, singer Lewis Capaldi has decided to stretch his tour a bit more and include Edinburgh. A second tour date has just been announced, and the Scottish singer-songwriter is officially coming for an outdoor show in the capital on August 30 and September 1.
Thousands of Big Fat Sexy Jungle Cats (which is what Lewis Capaldi’s fans are called, by the way: just like Beliebers, just better) are set to flood the grounds of the Royal Highland Showgrounds, expecting to sing their hearts out to all the old and new hits. What is more, the iconic band McFly is set to join Capaldi as special guests for both dates.
The news came in shortly after Capaldi was nominated for at The BRIT Awards 2023 for Song Of The Year, so we’re glad that’s all the inspiration he needed to add another Scottish date to the tour.
Before reaching Edinburgh, Lewis Capaldi is setting off on a massive worldwide tour, with all UK dates until February 2. After the UK, Capaldi will be touring countries around Europe, followed by a huge USA tour, as well as a number of dates in Australia and New Zealand.
Pre-sale tickets will be out on January 19 at 10am, and the standard ticket sale will commence on January 20 at 10am. Once they’re released, you can get your tickets here.
