A brand new super eye-catchy café has just opened its doors in St James Quarter in Edinburgh, and it’s called EL&N. Covered in pink hues throughout, the spot was deemed the ‘most instagrammable café in the world’, and we’re obsessed with every single corner. Joining an already impressive ensemble alongside Black Sheep Coffee, Haute Dolci with its chocolate on tap and Hotel Chocolat, EL&N is set to be a welcome addition to our much-loved shopping centre.
EL&N stands for Eat, Live and Nourish and was founded by Alexandra Miller in 2017 in London, later successfully expanding worldwide with locations such as Dubai, Doha, Paris and Milan, reaching a whopping 23 stores on an international scale.
Owner Alexandra Miller described the new store in Edinburgh as the ‘perfect location’ and ‘just in time for the festive season.’ Upon entering the café, guests can expect to be blown away with the soft and not-so-soft shades of pink, from a pink neon-lit piano to a repurposed rose pool dining table for all the photo opportunities imaginable.
An alluring atmosphere wouldn’t be complete without instagrammable lattes, so visitors can opt for a decaf Red Velvet Latte that is pink in colour, with red velvet cake syrup, beetroot powder, melted chocolate and whipped cream (without coffee). And if you’re after something stronger, go for the Pistachio Spanish with House espresso, condensed milk, steamed milk and and pistachio paste.
And if you’re after some brunch, an all day brunch is available at EL&N Edinburgh with a multitude of options such as eggs benny, avo toast, Turkish eggs and, our favourite, French toast.
What more can you ask for, so head down to St James Quarter to try out the newest trendy spot in town.
