You read that right – Hollywood superstar George Clooney is officially coming back to Scotland, and for a charitable cause. The actor and filmmaker has teamed up with Scottish charity Social Bite to help “break the cycle of homelessness. And as the title suggests, one lucky winner is in for a chance to have lunch with George Clooney himself, as well as be treated to an overnight stay at Gleneagles.
Social Bite’s connection to Clooney started back in 2015, when the star first visited the cafe in Edinburgh on Rose Street, aiding to put the charity in the limelight, helping propel the cause forward.
Social Bite has been doing important work when it comes to their mission to help end homelessness. From ambitious projects of building two villages to providing job opportunities for those without a home, the charity is empowering people to take back control of their lives and to find themselves once again. After all, hope is never lost; it’s just misplaced.
Over the years, George Clooney has not been the only celebrity to have visited and supported Social Bite. Leonardo DiCaprio, Sir Chris Hoy, Catherine, Princess of Wales, Malala Yousafzai, Martin Kemp, Emma Willis, and many others are among the famous names to endorse the charity.

So, onto the meat and tatties of this article – Social Bite has teamed up with George Clooney himself, where one lucky winner will be presented with the opportunity to have a lunch outing with the star. What is more, the winner will be treated to an overnight stay for two people at Gleneagles, the five-star luxury hotel and spa, which is also home to the two Michelin-starred Restaurant Andrew Fairlie. During the stay, guests will also receive a breakfast at one the hotel’s restaurants, as well as first-class train tickets to and from Gleneagles within Scotland.
What is more, the lunch with George Clooney is only for the one lucky winner, so it does not include a plus one.
