At long last, after our pals in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol getting to lap up all the fun over the past few years, Scotland is finally getting its very own Flight Club – in not one, but two locations.
Opening in both Edinburgh and Glasgow this Autumn, the fairground-inspired social darts bar will provide a new spot for mate dates – combining interactive gaming with a delicious cocktail menu, beers and a tasty food menu fit for sharing.
The new venue will take over a site in Edinburgh’s St James Quarter, and will consist of numerous bookable ‘oches’ which groups can enjoy – each with its own ‘push for service’ button so guests can avoid missing out on the game when their glass becomes empty.
Each oche is complete with an interactive dartboard, programmed with an array of engaging games sure to unleash your competitive side.
The venue will also be home to Edinburgh’s newest bottomless brunch – where guests can enjoy bottomless pizza and a full bottle of prosecco to themselves whilst they play social darts. The ‘Brunch Social’ will be available Thursday-Sunday every week, and has already proven popular in other UK cities.
In addition to its star pizza paddles, the bar will offer a varied menu of small plates and sharing platters, including loaded fries, bao buns, tacos, chicken bites, hummus boards and so much more – with a heavy focus on the social element so guests can pick and share as they play.
While Flight Club can be found across the country, the new Edinburgh venue will add a personal touch – paying homage to the city’s heritage with a large mural featuring historical landmarks, alongside a model Victorian railway that will run along the height of the bar nodding to Edinburgh locations.
Flight Club CEO Steve Moore said of the opening: “We love the atmosphere in Edinburgh and the existing hospitality and nightlife scene, so we are beyond excited to be opening a Flight Club in St James Quarter this autumn.
“It’s a busy and evolving city, and we will be bringing something a little different to the area, and can’t wait to see friends and colleagues celebrating every occasion with us.”
Flight Club Edinburgh opens on November 17th.
