In January, Summerhall welcomed Flare Festival, a mindful wellbeing festival filled with positive vibes, a focus on mental, physical and spiritual health, as well as live music, food trucks and plenty of classes to choose from. After the huge success of the event, Flare is introducing a brand new Pop-Up Party at The Biscuit Factory, which is set to be a smaller version of the festival.
Flare Pop-Up Party will be taking place on July 30 and September 10, supporting small local businesses within Edinburgh’s wellness and mindfulness space. Both events will be one-of-a-kind, as the event programmes will differ in each.
The true mastermind behind the events is a local mindset coach and founder of Flare*, Nicole, also known as Nico. Flare* not only focuses on coaching and mentoring but also on creating inclusive well-being events which promote making a difference in the world through first transforming our mindset. Nico aims to create that ripple effect of good in the world by empowering people on a local scale, as well as supporting small businesses and local creatives.
Flare Pop-Up Party is set to take place at The Biscuit Factory in Leith, and is a completely alcohol-free experience, encouraging guests to have a mindful, buzz-free experience. Visitors can expect food trucks and non-alcoholic drinks options at the events, as well as classes, live music, talks, workshops, yoga and stalls.
Visitors can get massages, tarot readings, taste kombucha and experience all the local vendors have to offer in their stalls. What is more, some noteworthy classes on July 30 include themes of breathwork, reiki and intuitive psychology, such as the Get Grounded Sound Healing & Reiki with Koa Edinburgh.
When it comes to the talks, guests can learn the art of breathwork at ‘Breathing Science 101’, or learn a bit more about ADHD at the ‘Why Am I Like This? ADHD’ talk. As for the workshops, you can take up crochet at the ‘Mindful Crochet For Beginners With The Colour Dasher’ workshop.
So, looks like it’s going to be an event to remember, so why not take some time out for yourself and commit to a day of self-care. If this sounds like a bit of you, can book your tickets on the Flare website.
