We love a bit of Parisian flair, and this new spot is just what we needed. Encore, a late-night speakeasy spot located within the Parisian-style West End Brasserie restaurant, is coming to Edinburgh’s Hope Street this December. Visitors can expect a laid-back and bouncing atmosphere, offering live music and elegant performance nights.
Encore Caledonian Heritable’s latest project, whose property portfolio includes Edinburgh landmark The Dome, Archerfield House, and Why Not Club as well as Rose Street Gardens.
The glamorous cocktail bar will offer a noteworthy menu of Scottish and French classics reimagined with the finest ingredients. Boasting delights such as Beef Carpaccio, French onion soup dumplings and Charcuterie to share, Encore takes inspiration from Paris’s Moulin Rouge and La République district.
The Bohemian-style cocktail menu pays homage to Paris’, with cheerful drinks. Going off from Parisian history, the classic concoctions will remind guests of visiting the French capital’s most iconic neighbourhoods. What is more, cocktails are set to be flowing freely together with lifestyle entertainment all in one trendy space, with small plates, cocktails, performances and music. So, Encore is a destination for indulgence and affluence, resulting in a uniquely abundant night out.
Caledonian Heritable Area Manager, Jay Glass said: “This brand-new cocktail bar and lounge beautifully captures the essence of 1920’s prohibition Paris with a modern twist, offering a diverse selection of exquisite bespoke cocktails, premium spirits, and shareable small plates.
It’s unique and innovative, playful and audacious and allows guests to experience a night out full of enjoyment with every bite and every sip. It is a one-of-a-kind for the city that we hope both residents and visitors will love and remember their visit no matter what the occasion”.
