It is safe to say chocolate is one of the most satisfying treats out there, at least for us. So, it comes as no shock to hear that TripAdvisor named The Chocolatarium Chocolate Experience one of the best things to do in the world last week. The experience involves not only a ton of chocolate-sampling opportunities but also a chance to make your own chocolate bar!
TripAdvisor’s ‘Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best’ awarded all the best experiences around the world, naming the best-reviewed experiences in the world in the last 12 months. Apparently, a total of less than 1% of the platform’s 8,000 listings make the cut in the first place, and Edinburgh made it fourth on the list.
The Reykjavik Food Walk won first place on the list, with a whopping 7,919 5-star reviews, while the Private Street Food Tour by Motorbike/Car with Local Students in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam took second place with 2,152 rave reviews. Khmer Cooking Class at a Local’s Home in Krong Siem Reap in Siem Reap, Cambodia came third with 1,227 reviews and our very own The Chocolatarium Chocolate Tour came fourth with 2,130 amazing reviews.
The Chocolatarium Tour of Chocolate
The Chocolatarium Chocolate Tour experience invites guests to embark on a 90-minute journey of delicious discovery, including plenty of chocolate sampling, learning more about the ins and outs of chocolate making and its origins, as well as making your own bar of chocolate. On top of getting immersed in the art of chocolate making, guests will get the chance to choose from 40 chocolate flavours to sample.
The space even has a ‘chocolate jungle’ where guests can see first-hand where chocolate truly comes from. Visitors can choose a standard ticket for £22, or opt for a Truffle-Making Masterclass for £38, as well as a wine or whisky experience for £44.
We’re over the moon our very own The Chocolatarium was internationally recognised, so why not head over there to check it out for yourself.
